Founder And President, Restaurant Zone, Inc.
Adam Greenberg is the President and Founder of Restaurant Zone, Inc., the company that runs Potomac Pizza and Bagels ‘n Grinds restaurants in Potomac, Rockville, Chevy Chase, College Park and Hanover. College Park Grill is the first high-end addition to the family.
With 26 years in the restaurant industry, Adam has established himself as a force to be reckoned with. He has given back to the community by donating to almost every charity you can think of, such as NIH children’s charities, KEEN DC, Autism Speaks, and numerous 5K races.
He also arranges pizza demonstrations for thousands of Elementary School children and has hosted hundreds of Community Nights at the restaurants to help with fundraising efforts. Adam opened the College Park Grill with one goal in mind: To create a place where family and friends can gather for good conversation and delicious food.
With menu items such as steak, seafood, chicken, knife and fork ribs and, of course, artisan wood burning pizzas, we have something for everyone. Adam often describes himself as a picky eater. He would not serve anything that he would not eat himself or serve to his family.
In addition to owning several successful restaurants, Adam currently serves as Vice Chair of the Bullis School and President of the Potomac Chamber of Commerce. He was previously a member of the Shady Grove Hospital Foundation and the Jewish Social Service Agency (JSSA).
His loyalty and dedication to the community have earned him several awards such as the Service Guild Business Person/Partner of the Year, Potomac Chamber of Commerce Business Person of the Year, and the Cabin John Volunteer Fire Department Community Partnership Award.
Just recently, the Central Maryland Chamber of Commerce presented Adam with the Small Business of the Year Award for Bagels ‘n Grinds in Hanover. He, his wife Courtney and their three children reside in Potomac, Maryland.
